Migration to Quantum-Safe workshop

- Prof Mihai Carabas, coordinator of the RoNaQCI project, participated at Migration to Quantum Safe workshop in Vienna on 21-22 November 2024. He presented the current status of the QKD national and metropolitan network deployment.
- Partners from other NatQCIs and industry key companies (Hitachi, Sandbox AQ, IBM, Adva Security Networks, Juniper Networks, Verbund, AIT, Deutsche Telekom, Singtel, Ernst & Young, Dacoso, PSNC, Cancom, GRNET, and Cetin) were also present at this event reviewing quantum-safe technology, exploring state-of-the-art quantum-safe building blocks like QKD, QRNG, and PQC, and learning how to combine these to deliver end-to-end quantum-safe keys while understanding its strategic value for businesses and organizations with use cases for quantum-safe key distribution across different OSI layers and applications.
